You only need an account if you want Mekaido AI or the synced garage. Sharing anonymous diagnostic data to improve the profiles is always your choice, and you can turn it off at any time. With Mekaido AI, your messages go through Vercel AI Gateway (Vercel, our host) to the AI provider we choose, currently OpenAI. Under the provider's API terms they are not used to train models, and we do not store them; the provider may keep them for a limited time to prevent abuse.
